The LeanTeam@VirginiaTech is committed to recruiting and developing high performing students from across different disciplines that are keen to learn to be lean. You will get the chance to

• Learn about Lean and its application in different environments
• Develop and run Lean workshops and summits for professionals from industry
• Build a network with professionals from industry
• Work with a dynamic team of highly motivated students and faculty
• Participate in plant tours and industry visits
• Undertake fun team events

When benefiting from the LeanTeam@VirginiaTech you will be expected to

• Contribute on average 8 hours of your time for the team per week
• Drive topics independently according to our Vision and Mission
• Challenge ideas and to be challenged
• Finish tasks independently in a timely manner
• Go the extra-mile if necessary
• Be willing to stand in for the team and help each other
